Senior Interior Designer

Essential Job Functions

Analyze and research project requirements by consulting with clients to determine factors affecting the planning of interior environments, including project scope, budget, location, and design preferences.

Prepare and present floor plans using computer-aided design programs (e.g., SketchUp, Revit), incorporating dimensions, annotations, and functional layouts that meet client needs and budget constraints.

Develop and present material palettes by researching and selecting finishes, furniture, and lighting fixtures based on functionality, budget, and aesthetics, and preparing mood boards for client approval.

Create and refine 3D visualizations of interior finishes, furnishings, and architectural millwork using rendering software to ensure design accuracy, aesthetics, and functionality.

Prepare comprehensive project proposals including 3D renderings and product lists, verifying product details and ensuring alignment with client goals before submission.

Coordinate project follow-up and order fulfillment by responding to client inquiries post-proposal, confirming product accuracy, and collaborating with the fulfillment team to process orders.

Oversee on-site installation and production processes by visiting construction sites as needed, supervising manufacturing, assembly, and installation, and monitoring hardware and material usage to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with design specifications.

Inspecting and recording the usage of hardware and raw materials to ensure quality and efficiency.

Monitoring warehouse inventory levels to maintain material adequacy and ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or similar

At least 2.5 years’ experience with residential remodeling or interior design

Proficiency in Sketch-Up, AutoCAD, Revit, or Kujiale

Working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop or similar presentation software preferred

Experience in renovation and remodeling project management preferred

Ability to work and coordinate with a team

Demonstrated experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

High level of customer service skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of professionalism
Compensation
$112,000 per year
